For my love of genetics was my dream of going to college to become a Geneticist. But that wasn't the path life gave me. I meet my husband and fell madly in love with my sole mate. He served in the Marine Corp for 10 years. So 10 years of moving constantly and 3 boys later we finally settled down. I got the next best thing that life could offer me and that was to stay at home and raise my 3 very active boys. Fast forward to 2015, my boys have now gotten a life of their own and I'm left with an empty nest and missing the everyday mayhem. So I started researching and learning everything I could about raising and breeding dachshunds. I've always loved the breed and knew one day I would own one when life settled down. I knew about dominant and recessive genes and how they worked so all I had to do was start plugging in the genetic makeup of different dachshund to figure out the wide diversity of this breed. I know I don't know everything yet, but I continue to research and study this breed in hopes to give future families the best puppy possible.
I raise all my babies in the house with my husband and I. Let me tell you, it gets a little (lot) crazy around here. We have taken one of the spare bedrooms and remodeled it into our Puppy Nursery. Just recently we added a bath & grooming station to the sunroom. Made a puppy play yard for my dachshunds to run around and go crazy. I just love these guys and my only regret is not doing this earlier in life. But I'm doing it now and loving it!!

Dachshunds sure do leave their paw prints on our hearts forever. They create awesome lifelong memories; greet us at the door when we return home; pick us up when we are down; and offer us endless unconditional love. These dogs mean the world to me. I truly love them all.
